My Awakening

During the dreaded Covid lockdowns, as we all were going a bit stir crazy, I had an awakening. I could keep repeating the same bad habits and sliding down into a deeper depression or I could flip a switch, take control and become a better version of myself.

​

With some optimistic motivation from my amazing partner, he pushed me to get up everyday and start going to the gym. It was tough at first, but I told myself it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. So, I committed to just 3 weeks.

 

Believe me it was a struggle at first. However, with each day it became easier. What once was strange and uncomfortable to me has now become my lifestyle and I continually reap the benefits of this change in my mind and body.

Now this is my own personal journey I am sharing with you in hopes that I am able to provide the motivation to those reading my story to help overcome and persevere ANY obstacle in life. Just know that you have the capability of setting goals and achieving them.
